About Product Overview

This Scotts Turf Builder bag combines grass seed and fertilizer in one product, built specifically for areas that take a beating - think back yard cut-throughs, play spaces, and anywhere foot traffic wears the lawn thin. The High Traffic seed blend is formulated to hold up to that kind of use while the built-in fertilizer gives new seedlings a head start.

It works in sun or shade, so you're not stuck buying separate mixes for different parts of the yard, and it's rated for multi-season application across all regions. At 5.6 lbs, one bag covers up to 2,800 sq ft, making it a good fit for smaller lawns under 4,000 sq ft that need a targeted repair rather than a full overseed. Note that this blend is not marketed as heat tolerant, so plan applications accordingly.
