About Product Overview

Bostitch built this 16 gauge finish nailer around its Smart Point design, which lets you drive nails into tight corners and detailed trim work without the nose getting in the way. It's the kind of nailer that earns its place in a finish carpenter's kit — running door casing, baseboard, crown molding, and other trim jobs where a bulky nose or awkward angle costs you time.

The bottom-load magazine holds up to 100 finishing nails at a time, so you're not stopping every few minutes to reload, and it handles fasteners up to 2-1/2 inches long for real holding power in thicker trim stock. It runs on a wide pressure range of 70 to 120 PSI, giving you room to dial in the right drive force for different materials. This is the kit version, so you get what you need to get started right out of the box.

Go ahead. Check.

You're going to open the other tab. Everybody does. We'd rather say so than pretend otherwise — so open it. We'll wait.

When you're over there, check four things before you click buy.

01

Who's actually selling it

The brand name is on the listing. A different company is in the seller field. Those aren't the same thing, and the second one is who you're buying from.

02

Whether the warranty survives

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Bostitch. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.

03

Where the box came from

Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.

04

Who you call when it breaks

Ours is a phone number with a person behind it who has held this product. M–F, 6 AM – 5 PM Pacific. (866) 469-8556

We're not always the cheapest.

Sometimes you'll find it for less. Sometimes you'll find it for more. On a lot of brands the number is identical everywhere it's sold legitimately — the manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price and every authorized dealer holds it. When a price sits well under that, it's worth asking why before it's worth celebrating.

Shop Local · Support Independent

Every order helps keep your local hardware store on the corner.

Why we built NHG
You might find it for less locally. Independent retailers often offer competitive pricing — some products are even cheaper in-store than online.
Real expert advice — not search results. Independent hardware staff know their inventory and the local conditions you're working in.
Keep the neighborhood working. Every dollar spent at an independent retailer returns roughly 3x more to your local economy than at a national chain.
