About Product Overview

The BLACK+DECKER Jig Saw Curve Control 5A is built for anyone cutting curves, notches, or straight lines in wood, plastic, or metal and wanting real control over the finish. A 5-amp motor drives the blade at up to 3000 strokes per minute, with variable speed so you can slow down for tight curves or speed up for long straight cuts. Four orbital action settings let you dial in the cutting action to match the material - more aggressive for fast rough cuts, smoother for clean finish work.

The keyless blade change accepts both U and T shank blades, so swapping blades between jobs is quick and doesn't require extra tools. A tilting shoe gives you 45-degree bevel cuts for angled work, and the built-in dust blower clears sawdust from your cut line so you can actually see where you're cutting. A lock-on switch lets you keep the trigger engaged for extended cuts without fatiguing your hand. This is a tool-only offering, UL Listed, backed by a 1-year warranty.
