About Product Overview

The Oasis Classic from Architectural Mailboxes solves a problem most post-mounted mailboxes ignore: mail security. This is a full locking mailbox, built from galvanized steel with a powder coated black finish that resists rust and stands up to impact, so it holds its shape and its looks through years of weather and everyday use.

Mail goes in through a top hopper opening designed for one-way delivery, so once it drops in, it stays put until you unlock the unit to retrieve it. An outgoing mail indicator lets your carrier know there's mail to pick up, and there's no rear access, keeping the retrieval point limited to the lockable front. It arrives fully assembled, ready to mount on a post, and it's approved by the US Postmaster General, so it meets the standards carriers expect. Good fit for homeowners who've dealt with mail theft or package tampering and want a mailbox that actually locks, not just closes.
