About Product Overview

Cutting through tile, stone, or ceramic calls for something tougher than a standard steel hole saw, which is where the carbide grit edge on this ARTU 2-1/2" hole saw earns its keep. Rather than teeth, it uses a carbide grit coating to grind through hard, brittle materials without chipping or cracking the surrounding surface - the kind of clean cut you need when you're cutting a hole for a pipe or fixture in a finished tile wall or stone countertop.

It comes with the arbor included, so it's ready to chuck up and run without hunting down a separate mandrel. The 3/8" shank fits standard drills, and at 4-1/2" long it has the reach to get through thicker tile and stone setups. Good fit for tile installers, remodelers, and plumbers who need a dependable cutter for occasional hard-material holes rather than a full-time production tool.
