About Product Overview

Heavy-duty towing setups need a pintle plate that can handle real weight without flexing, and CURT's steel pintle mounting plate is built for exactly that. Rated for up to 18,000 lbs of gross towing weight, it gives you a solid, adjustable base for mounting a pintle hook or lunette ring on a 2.5" receiver. The 6.5" drop and 12.5" shank length let you dial in the right height for trailers that sit lower or higher than your tow vehicle, which matters when you're hauling equipment trailers, livestock trailers, or other heavy loads that don't line up perfectly with a standard hitch.
