About Product Overview

The Flotec FP4532 is a 1 HP shallow well jet pump built for households pulling water from wells with a depth of 25 feet or less. It's a straightforward workhorse: no self-priming feature and no built-in tank, so it's meant to pair with your existing well setup or pressure tank system rather than run as a standalone unit.

The cast iron housing stands up to the wear that comes from constant water contact, and the corrosion-resistant construction is built for the long haul of well duty. A pressure switch handles on/off cycling automatically, and the pump runs on either 115 or 230 volts depending on how your system is wired. With CSA and UL compliance and a 1-year warranty backing it, this is a dependable choice for replacing an aging shallow well pump or setting up a new one.
