About Product Overview

At 12 inches long and 12 gauge thick, these Grip-Rite steel spikes are built for jobs where a standard nail won't hold - landscape timbers, retaining walls, heavy fence posts, and outdoor framing that takes a beating from weather and weight. The smooth shank drives clean through dense lumber, while the diamond point starts the hole and reduces splitting as it goes in. A 3/4-inch flat head gives you a solid surface to strike and enough bearing area to keep the spike from pulling through over time.
