About Product Overview

Minwax Helmsman Spar Urethane in an 11 oz aerosol gives you a fast, no-mess way to protect wood that has to stand up to the elements. Originally developed for boat decks, this spar urethane flexes with wood as it expands and contracts, and its UV resistance keeps outdoor surfaces from yellowing or breaking down in the sun. The semi-gloss, clear finish works on indoor or outdoor projects alike, from porch railings to picture frames, and the spray format makes it easy to get an even coat into corners and edges brushes miss.
