The Latitude single cylinder deadbolt from Schlage is built to Grade 1 residential standards, which is the highest security rating a home lock can carry. That matters if you're serious about the door being more than decoration — this is the same grade used to test against forced entry, kick-ins, and lock picking. The satin nickel finish gives it a clean, modern look that works with the Latitude line's low-profile design, and the all-metal construction is meant to hold up to daily use in all kinds of weather since it's rated for indoor and outdoor installation.
It fits standard doors from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick and installs on either a left or right swinging door, so you're not locked into one configuration. Comes with two keys so you're not stuck making a copy before you can hand one to someone else.
