About Product Overview

This 1/4-inch by 12-inch threaded rod from SteelWorks is cut from low carbon steel with a coarse Class 2A thread fit, giving you a solid length to cut down for U-bolts, clamps, and general fastening jobs where you need a custom-length threaded piece. It's not rated for welding, so plan on mechanical fastening rather than fabrication work.
