The TELL Cortland classroom lever lockset in satin chrome (US26D) is built for doors that see steady traffic and need reliable control - schools, offices, and busy commercial entries, though it works just as well on a residential door. The lever design makes it easier to operate than a knob, which matters in spaces used by people carrying books, trays, or supplies. Steel construction throughout, including the faceplate, backs an ANSI Grade 2 security rating, putting it a step above basic residential-grade hardware without the cost of a Grade 1 commercial unit. It's non-handed, so the same lockset installs on left- or right-swinging doors, and it fits standard door thicknesses from 1-3/8 to 2 inches.
