About Product Overview

The Troy-Bilt 18" gas chainsaw runs on a 42cc 2-cycle engine, giving you enough power to work through a 16" cutting diameter for felling small trees, bucking firewood, or clearing storm damage around the property. The 18" bar strikes a balance for homeowners who need more reach than a trim saw but don't want the weight of a pro-grade rig.

An anti-vibration handle cuts down on fatigue during longer cutting sessions, and the chain brake is there to help stop the chain quickly if you hit kickback. It's a pull-start saw with manual chain tension adjustment, so you set it and check it the old-fashioned way - no fuss, no extra parts to fail. The saw is CARB compliant and CSA listed, and Troy-Bilt backs it with a 2-year warranty.
