About Product Overview

The WAYNE CDU980E is built for basements that flood fast and need a pump that can keep up. Its 3/4 HP motor pushes up to 5,490 gallons per hour at zero head, and it still moves 4,743 GPH at 10 feet and 3,571 GPH at 20 feet, so performance holds up even when water has to travel up and out of a deep pit. A stainless steel housing stands up to the constant wet/dry cycling that kills lesser pumps, and top suction intake helps it clear water down low without clogging on debris.

The vertical float switch turns the pump on at 9 inches and off at 4 inches, giving it a tight, reliable cycle that won't run the motor dry. A 1-1/2 inch outlet fits standard discharge pipe, and the 8-foot cord gives you room to reach a nearby outlet without an extension cord. CSA compliance and USA manufacturing back up the build quality. This is a pump for homeowners with a real water problem - high water tables, sump pits that fill fast, or basements that need serious backup capacity.
