About Product Overview

AMES Concrete Floor Paint in Quicksilver is part of the Capstone Granite line, built as a water-based acrylic coating that doubles as a sealer for outdoor concrete. The gloss finish gives floors a decorative silver fleck look while adding a skid-resistant, UV-resistant, water-resistant surface that stands up to sun and weather. It goes down by spray or trowel, works on multiple surfaces, and needs no primer, which cuts a step out of the job. Plan on two coats for full coverage, with recoating possible after 24 hours and a full cure time of 10 days before the floor sees heavy use. Apply when temperatures run between 50°F and 90°F. This is a good match for patios, walkways, garage floors, or other exposed concrete where you want more than plain paint. Cleanup is simple soap and water, and the low 150 VOC level makes it a reasonable choice for use around living spaces.
