About Product Overview

This Bostitch 2-1/2" ring shank nail is built for decking and roofing work where fasteners need to grip and stay put through weather and seasonal wood movement. The ring shank design bites into the material and resists pull-out far better than a smooth shank, which matters most on outdoor projects that see rain, freeze-thaw cycles, and foot traffic. Galvanized steel construction stands up to moisture and outdoor exposure without rusting out over time.

These are angled coil nails on wire collation, sized to run through pneumatic coil nailers for fast, repetitive fastening on deck boards, sheathing, and similar jobs. The diamond point starts clean and drives straight, and the full round head gives a solid bearing surface so the nail seats flush without tearing through the material. Packed 2,700 to a box, there's enough here to get through a real decking or roofing job without a mid-project run to restock.
