About Product Overview

DEWALT built the STRING TRIMR KIT 60V 17" for anyone tired of fighting gas trimmers or running out of cord mid-yard. The straight shaft puts down a 17" cutting swath, wide enough to clear real ground without doubling back constantly, while the bump-feed head keeps 0.08" line coming without stopping to fuss with it. Push-button start means no pull cord, no primer, no gas smell - just squeeze and go.

This kit comes ready to work: a 60V MAX battery rated at 3 amp hours plus a charger, so there's no separate battery purchase to plan for. It's attachment capable too, which matters if you're already building out a DEWALT 60V system and want one battery platform running multiple yard tools. CARB compliant for use anywhere emissions rules apply. Backed by a 3-year limited parts and labor warranty, and assembly is required out of the box.
