A latch shield adds a layer of protection right where door break-ins usually happen: at the latch. This Prime-Line 3x7" shield covers the gap between the door and frame near the lockset, making it much harder to slip a tool in and force the latch open. It's steel construction with a brushed stainless finish, sized for standard entry doors, and comes with the mounting hardware needed to install it.

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Prime-Line. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.
Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.
