SKIL built this PWRCORE 20V drill/driver around a brushless motor, which means more efficient power delivery and a longer-lasting tool overall compared to brushed models. The 1/2" keyless chuck handles a wide range of bit sizes without needing a key, and with 400 in-lbs of torque and speeds up to 1700 RPM, it has the muscle for drilling through dense material as well as driving long fasteners. Seventeen clutch settings plus a dedicated drill mode give you fine control over how much torque hits the fastener, so you can sink screws into drywall or hardwood without stripping or overdriving. A built-in LED lights up dark corners, cabinets, and job sites where you need to see what you're driving into. At 1.83 lbs for the tool itself, it's light enough for overhead work or long stretches of repetitive driving.
