This 30-pound bucket of Grip-Rite 16D deck nails is built for outdoor construction where corrosion resistance and holding power both matter. Each nail measures 3-1/2 inches long with a 9-gauge steel shank, hot-dipped galvanized for protection against weather and moisture over the life of the deck, fence, or outdoor structure it's used on.
The spiral shank bites into wood fiber as it's driven, resisting the back-out and popping that can happen with smooth-shank nails under seasonal wood movement. A diamond point starts clean and drives straight, while the 5/16-inch flat head sits flush for a finished look. With 1,560 nails per bucket, this is a job-lot quantity meant for decking, framing, and other outdoor projects where you don't want to run out mid-build.
