About Product Overview

The Schumacher SC1361 is a 50-amp charger and engine starter built for the driver who's tired of calling a tow truck over a dead battery. It handles routine charging and jump-starting from the same unit, so it covers maintenance and emergencies without needing two separate tools in the garage.

Set it to automatic and it manages the charge rate on its own, which takes the guesswork out of keeping a 12-volt deep cycle lead acid battery topped off between uses. Reverse polarity protection guards against a wrong-cable mistake, and UL listing means it's been tested to recognized safety standards. At just over 21 pounds, it's substantial enough to handle real starting power but still something you can carry out to the driveway or truck bed.
