At 50 inches of capacity, this Bessey parallel clamp is built for glue-ups that outgrow a standard bar clamp - cabinet carcasses, table tops, doors, and wide panels where you need even pressure across the whole joint. Unlike a standard bar clamp, the parallel jaw design keeps the clamp head square to the work instead of tilting under pressure, so you get consistent clamping force from edge to edge without marring or shifting your workpiece.
With 1,500 lbs of clamping force and a 3-3/4 inch throat depth, it has the reach and grip to handle thick stock and layered assemblies. The steel construction is built to hold up to repeated shop use, and at 8.5 lbs it's substantial enough to stay put on the bench once set.
