Zinsser Bulls Eye Shellac in amber is a traditional wood finish and sealer that lays down a warm, transparent tone while sealing knots, stains, and odors that other finishes let bleed through. It's fast-moving stuff: recoat in about an hour and it's fully cured within a day, so a project doesn't tie up your workspace. One quart covers roughly 150 square feet, enough for cabinets, trim, or furniture pieces in a single indoor project.
