About Product Overview

This 2" copper adapter connects a press-fit line to male threaded pipe or fittings, no torch or solder needed on the press side. QuickFitting's press system uses a mechanical seal that locks in place with a press tool, cutting installation time and reducing the fire risk that comes with sweating copper joints.

The MNPT end threads directly into valves, meters, or other threaded components, making this a practical transition piece for water supply work. It's rated for underground installation, so it holds up in buried supply lines as well as above-ground runs, and it carries NSF listing for potable water use.
