About Product Overview

Architec built this carving board with a concave center specifically for meats and roasts—the recessed surface channels juices toward the edges instead of letting them pool and spill across your countertop. At 13 x 19 inches with 1.5 inches of thickness, it gives you enough working surface for a full turkey, brisket, or leg of lamb, plus the heft to stay put while you carve.

It's part of Architec's Gripperwood line, made from solid acacia wood with a natural finish that shows off the grain instead of hiding it under stain. Acacia is dense and closed-grain, which makes it a durable choice for a board that's going to see knife work regularly.
