About Product Overview

The Superior Pump 4200GPH Sump Pump is built for basements and crawl spaces that see serious water volume during heavy rain or spring thaw. A cast iron housing gives it the durability and heat dissipation that plastic pumps can't match, while the bottom suction intake pulls water down close to the pit floor to reduce standing water left behind after each cycle.

With a maximum discharge flow of 4200 gallons per hour and the ability to push water up to 25 feet of head, this pump handles deep sump pits or long discharge runs to daylight without straining. The vertical float switch turns the pump on and off automatically as water rises and falls, so it runs unattended once it's set up. It's rated for water temperatures between 33°F and 120°F, covering everything from icy spring runoff to warm groundwater, and it carries CSA compliance for added confidence in its safety testing.
