About Product Overview

The Generac 24000KW is a whole-house standby unit built for homeowners who don't want to think twice when the power goes out. Running on a Generac G-Force engine with 997cc of displacement, it puts out up to 24,000 starting watts and holds steady at 24,000 watts on LP or 22,500 watts on natural gas - enough to carry a full home's essentials, and then some, through an extended outage.

Built-in Bluetooth lets you check status and run diagnostics from your phone, while automatic shutdowns for carbon monoxide and low oil protect the unit and your household without you having to babysit it. Note that this model does not include an automatic transfer switch, so plan for one separately. Backed by Generac's 5-year limited parts and labor warranty and assembled in the USA, it's built for buyers who want serious backup power and are ready to have it installed by a pro.
