About Product Overview

When the power grid fails, this Generac 26000-watt home standby generator switches on automatically, using its included automatic transfer switch to bring your home back online without you lifting a finger. Built around a Generac G-Force engine with 997cc of displacement, it's sized for whole-home backup, not just keeping a few lights on.

Running on either liquid propane or natural gas, it delivers 26kW continuous on LP and 24kW on NG, enough to carry major appliances, well pumps, HVAC systems, and more through an extended outage. Bluetooth connectivity lets you check status and run diagnostics remotely, and a low oil shutdown protects the engine from damage if levels drop. It's a considered investment for homeowners who don't want to gamble on portable generators, extension cords, or manual switch-over during a storm.
