About Product Overview

Thin, patchy fescue lawns need more than just seed or just fertilizer to bounce back - this Scotts Turf Builder Thick'R Lawn product tackles both at once. Formulated for established Tall Fescue lawns, it combines grass seed with a 9-1-1 fertilizer blend in granule form to help fill in bare spots while feeding the turf that's already there. One 40 lb bag covers up to 4,000 square feet, sized right for smaller yards where hand-held or Wizz spreaders make quick work of application.

Apply in spring or fall, then water in and keep the soil moist until the seed germinates. It's built for all-purpose use across multiple regions and works with any Scotts spreader - broadcast, rotary, drop, Elite, hand-held, or Wizz. Made in the USA.
