Black Beauty Shady Nooks combines fescue, perennial ryegrass, and turfgrass varieties selected to hold on and keep growing under full shade conditions, with drought tolerance built in for when rain skips a week or two. One 7-pound bag covers up to 5,250 square feet, making it a solid fit for medium-sized lawns in the 4,000 to 9,999 square foot range. It's rated for multi-season application, so you're not locked into a single planting window, and it's suited to northern climates rather than hot, humid regions since heat tolerance isn't part of this formula.
