The Bayou Classic SS Bayou Fryer puts out 57,000 BTUs, enough heat to bring 2.5 gallons of oil to frying temperature fast and keep it there through a full turkey fry, a batch of fish, or a crawfish boil. Unlike the painted steel bodies common on entry-level fryers, this one is built entirely of stainless steel with a satin finish, so it stands up to oil, moisture, and repeated outdoor use without rusting through.
It runs on propane with manual ignition, keeping the setup simple: no batteries, no electronic controls to fail on you mid-cook. There are no wheels, so plan on setting it where you'll use it, on a patio, driveway, or tailgate spot with a stable, level surface.
