Ledger board flashing is one of those details that either gets ignored or gets done right, and TrexSeal's Aluminum Lined Ledger Tape is built for the latter. This 11-inch wide roll runs 25 feet, giving you enough coverage to protect a full deck ledger connection without piecing together short scraps. The aluminum-lined rubber construction seals against the wall sheathing and wraps over fasteners, blocking the water intrusion that leads to rot at the single most failure-prone joint on any deck.
Roofers and deck builders use ledger tape like this to create a continuous waterproof barrier before the ledger board goes up, catching moisture that would otherwise run behind the flashing and into the rim joist. Black finish keeps it low-profile once installed. Made in the USA, and packaged one roll per unit.
