About Product Overview

The DEWALT DW130V is built for jobs that would burn out a lighter-duty drill - drilling large-diameter holes in wood or steel, mixing, or any application that calls for high torque over finesse. The spade handle design gives you the two-fisted control needed to manage that torque safely when the bit binds, which matters at this power level.

A 9-amp motor drives a 1/2-inch keyed chuck up to 550 RPM, with variable speed letting you dial back for control on tougher starts or slower materials. At 7.5 lbs it has real heft, but that mass helps steady the tool under load rather than fighting you. The 8-foot cord gives you working room without needing an extension for most bench or job-site setups. UL Listed for safety compliance, and made in Mexico.
