About Product Overview

Cutting a clean hole through tile or stone takes more than a standard hole saw - the material chips, cracks, or the saw burns out before you're through. The Diablo DHS2500DG solves that with a diamond grit edge built to cut porcelain tile, ceramic tile, granite, marble, slate, and glass without the blowout you get from carbide or bi-metal teeth. At 2-1/2" in diameter with a 2" cutting depth, it's sized for standard plumbing and electrical penetrations through tile backsplashes, stone countertops, and shower surrounds. The 1/4" shank runs in any standard drill, and the quick-change system lets you swap bits between jobs without hunting for the right arbor. Diamond grit stays sharp longer than abrasive discs on hard, brittle materials, making this a solid pick for tile installers, remodelers, and anyone drilling fixture holes in stone or glass on a regular basis.
