About Product Overview

When you need to step a 4-inch line down to 2-1/2 inches without changing pipe runs or adding extra joints, this reducing coupling from STZ Industries does the job. Made from malleable iron with a galvanized finish, it stands up to the wear and corrosion that come with everyday plumbing and heating work, and it's rated for up to 300 PSI and 150 degrees. Both ends are FIP (female iron pipe), so it threads directly onto standard pipe with no adapters needed. Lead-free construction makes it suitable for potable water systems.
