About Product Overview

The Makita LXT XRJ04Z runs at 2,800 strokes per minute with a 1-1/4" stroke length, giving it the cutting speed and bite you need for demolition work, rough framing cuts, and tearing through nail-embedded lumber. Built on Makita's 18V LXT platform, it skips the cord so you can work in tight crawl spaces, up on ladders, or wherever an outlet isn't an option. The keyless blade change lets you swap blades fast when you're switching between wood and metal cutting mid-job, and the electric brake stops the blade quickly once you release the trigger for better control and safety.
