Generac built this portable generator around its PowerRush technology, which lets a smaller engine deliver more starting power for demanding loads—handy when you need to run tools, appliances, or emergency circuits without stepping up to a bigger, heavier unit. The OHV engine comes from Generac's own engine line, so the powerhead and generator are matched by the same manufacturer rather than paired with an outside engine.
At 30 amps and 120 volts, it's sized for backup power during outages or for job sites that need a dependable outlet away from the grid. Weighing in at 65 pounds, it's manageable to move and store between uses. Generac backs it with a 3-year limited parts and labor warranty, which is longer coverage than you'll find on many entry-level portables.
