About Product Overview

Espoma's Lawn Food Weed Preventer handles two spring jobs in one pass: it feeds established turf with a 9-0-0 organic analysis while its pre-emergent formula stops crabgrass and other weeds before they take hold. Because it's phosphorus-free, it's a good fit for lawns where phosphorus runoff is a concern, and the granule form spreads evenly with a standard broadcast or drop spreader. This is a spring-application product meant for lawns that are already established, not new seed - so hold off if you're seeding this season. Each 25 lb bag covers up to 1,250 sq ft, making it sized for smaller yards rather than large properties.
