About Product Overview

DeWalt built the Hood Light BATT 1700L for jobsite areas where you need broad, even light rather than a narrow beam - basements, garages, crawl spaces, or any work zone lacking overhead fixtures. It runs on DeWalt's 20V MAX battery platform, so if you're already running DeWalt tools, one battery pool covers your light too. At 1700 lumens, it puts out enough output to light up a whole work area, not just the spot in front of you.

The hanging hook lets you mount it overhead and keep both hands free, and it's rated for indoor and outdoor use, so it moves from the shop to the driveway to the backyard job without missing a beat. At 6.85 lbs it's substantial enough to feel durable but still portable from room to room or site to site.
