About Product Overview

DeWalt built this DCS565B around a brushless motor, which means more runtime per charge and a longer life for the tool compared to brushed circular saws. At 6.3 lbs, it's light enough to handle overhead cuts and long stretches of ripping without wearing out your arm, but it still delivers real cutting power at up to 4950 RPM.

The left-side blade location gives right-handed users a clear line of sight to the cut, and the keyless blade change means you can swap blades without hunting for a wrench. With a 50-degree bevel capacity and depth adjustment dialed in, it handles angled cuts in framing, sheet goods, and general carpentry. An electric brake stops the blade quickly once you release the trigger, and the spindle lock makes blade changes a one-person job.
