About Product Overview

Long auger bits like this one earn their keep on the jobs where a standard spade bit falls short - running power and low-voltage lines through multiple wall studs, floor joists, or deep timber framing in one continuous pass. The Diablo AUGER BIT 1-1/16X17.5" is built with a Dura-Tip cutting edge on high speed steel, and the whole bit is heat treated to hold that edge through repeated drilling in dense or knotty wood.

The 17.5" length gets you through double top plates and multiple bays without switching to an extension, and the 7/16" quick-change hex shank lets you pull it and swap tools without hunting for a chuck key. It ships carded, one bit per package, ready to load into your drill or impact driver.
