About Product Overview

Cabot's Semi-Solid Deck & Siding Stain combines the coverage of a stain with the protection of a sealer, so you're not applying two separate products to get color and weather resistance. The semi-solid formula lets some wood grain show through while adding richer, more opaque color than a translucent stain - a good middle ground for decks and siding that have some age or texture worth showing off.

This is an oil-based alkyd formula built for exterior wood: decks, siding, and fencing. It's water repellent and UV resistant to help fight the sun and rain damage that fades and breaks down wood finishes over time, and it's tintable in this neutral base so you can match it to your project. Apply by brush, pad, or roller.
