About Product Overview

Ready Seal Mission Brown is an oil-based penetrating stain and sealer in one, built for outdoor wood surfaces that need color and protection without a multi-step process. The semi-transparent formula lets wood grain show through while laying down a flat, even brown tone that resists UV fading over time.

Part of Ready Seal's Goof Proof line, it's formulated to blend easily and forgive lap marks, which makes it a solid choice for decks, fences, siding, and other large outdoor projects where a DIYer is working without a sprayer crew. Apply it with a brush, roller, paint pad, or sprayer, and it penetrates into the wood instead of sitting on top like a film-forming finish, so there's less risk of peeling or flaking down the road. This 5-gallon container covers up to 625 square feet, enough for a full deck rebuild or a run of fencing, and it's ready to recoat quickly since you don't have to wait long between coats.
