Truper built this aluminum scoop shovel for moving bulk material fast without wearing you out. The wide 13.38" blade scoops more per pass than a standard shovel, and because it's aluminum instead of steel, it stays light in your hands through a long stretch of work - clearing snow, shifting grain, mulch, gravel, or sand.
The D-handle design gives you a firm two-hand grip for lifting and tossing loads, which matters more on a scoop than a straight-handle shovel since you're often working at an angle. A wood handle adds some flex and shock absorption compared to an all-metal build. At 3.6 lbs total, it's easy to swing repeatedly without the fatigue a heavier steel scoop would cause.
