About Product Overview

Cabot DeckCorrect Deck Resurfacer is built for decks that have seen better days - boards that are worn, gray, or showing surface cracks that a regular stain won't hide. This water-based acrylic formula goes on thick as a solid coating, filling in minor surface imperfections while giving you a fresh, even color instead of just another thin coat over old damage.

Because it's a tintable base, your local Cabot dealer can match it to the solid color you want rather than locking you into a preset shade. The UV-resistant finish helps protect against sun fading, and as a sealer it also works to shield the wood from moisture. Recoat in 4 to 6 hours and expect full cure at 24 hours, so you're not waiting around for days between steps. One 5-gallon container covers about 375 square feet, enough for a good-sized deck project, and it goes on with a standard brush or roller - no special equipment needed.
