This galvanized steel nipple from STZ Industries connects two threaded pipe sections in gas, water, or air lines where corrosion resistance matters. Both ends are MIP-threaded at 1/8 inch, and the galvanized finish holds up against rust better than bare steel in damp basements, outdoor lines, or utility runs. Rated for pressures up to 188 PSI and temperatures up to 400°F, it's built for standard plumbing and heating applications, not just decorative fittings.
