About Product Overview

The Basement Sentry 1/3 HP Sump Pump is built to take over when your primary pump can't - whether that's from a power outage or a main pump failure. Running on 12 volts, it's designed to work off a backup battery system so your basement stays dry even when the electricity doesn't. A vertical float switch triggers it automatically as water rises, and the bottom suction intake pulls water efficiently without needing constant adjustment.

With a maximum discharge of 2400 GPH and up to 15 feet of head, it has the muscle to keep pace with a fast-filling sump pit. The thermoplastic housing resists corrosion better than metal, which matters for a pump that sits submerged and ready to run at a moment's notice. CSA compliance and a 1-year warranty back it up, and it's made in the USA.
