About Product Overview

The Little Giant SUB UTIL PUMP 1/15HP 500 is built for jobs that need constant manual control rather than automatic float-switch operation - think draining a flooded basement floor, pumping down a window well, clearing a low spot in the yard, or keeping water out of a boat bilge. At 1/15 HP it moves up to 500 GPH and pushes water up to 17.3 feet of head through a 1/2" discharge, and being self-priming means it gets to work fast even in shallow, low-water conditions.

The aluminum housing resists corrosion, so it holds up to repeated exposure to standing water without breaking down over time. It's a switchless design, meaning you control on/off manually - useful when you don't want a pump kicking on and off automatically. Runs on standard 115V AC power and carries UL compliance for added confidence, backed by a 1-year warranty from Little Giant.
