About Product Overview

The Little Giant 1/3 HP Sump Pump moves up to 2,760 gallons per hour, giving basements and crawlspaces a submersible workhorse that can keep pace with real water intrusion. The cast iron housing pulls heat away from the motor and stands up to the wear that comes with constant submersion, so this pump is built for pits that see regular action, not just occasional storms.

A diaphragm switch handles the on/off cycling automatically, activating the pump as water rises and shutting it down once the pit drains, so you're not standing over it during a heavy rain. Bottom suction intake pulls water in low, helping the pump clear pits closer to empty, and the 1-1/2 inch outlet connects to standard discharge piping. With a 10-foot cord and CSA compliance, it's suited for permanent installation in a home sump basin, utility pit, or any spot prone to standing water. Runs on standard 115V power drawing 9 amps.
