The Little Giant SUB UTIL PUMP 1/160HP120 is built for small-scale water removal, not heavy-duty sump duty. At just 1/160 horsepower, it's sized for clearing shallow puddles, draining window wells, emptying birdbaths, or keeping a small fountain or pond circulating.
Because it runs on a switchless, manual on/off design rather than a float switch, you control exactly when it runs - useful for spot jobs where you don't want the pump kicking on unattended. The thermoplastic housing resists corrosion, so it can sit in wet or damp conditions without breaking down, and its compact size lets it fit into tight spaces where a full-size utility pump won't reach. It's self-priming, so it gets to work as soon as it's submerged, without needing to bleed air from the line first.
